The SHIMICOAT QCell Patch & Repair Kit Tinted is an Australian made epoxy mortar repair system that combines Ultra Clear Epoxy Resin (100% solid) with QCell filler to patch, fill and rebuild damaged concrete before a coating is applied. Mix the components to your ideal consistency for a fast, strong and reliable concrete floor repair.

What is the QCell Patch & Repair Kit Tinted used for?
It makes a colour tinted, trowellable epoxy patching paste for filling and repairing holes and divots in concrete so the repair can be colour matched. The QCell filler keeps the paste light and easy to spread and sand smooth.
How is the tinted version different from the standard kit?
It includes a colour tint so the cured patch blends with the floor rather than standing out as a pale spot. This is useful where the repair will be left exposed or finished with a clear coat.
What is included in the kit?
You get the epoxy resin in two parts, the named QCell lightweight filler powder and a colour tint to match the repair. A step by step installation guide is included to help you mix and apply it.
How do I mix and apply the tinted QCell paste?
Mix the epoxy parts at the stated ratio, add the colour tint, then stir in the QCell powder until smooth and trowellable. Press the paste into the repair, trowel it flush and sand it back level once cured.
How long does it take to cure?
The patching paste typically needs to cure before it can be sanded and coated, often overnight depending on temperature. Cooler conditions will extend the cure time.
Where can I use it and can I coat over it afterwards?
It suits interior concrete repairs where the colour of the patch matters, either left exposed or under a clear finish. Once cured and sanded smooth, it can also be coated over with epoxy or polyaspartic floor systems.
