SHIMISPART Rapid Repair

SHIMISPART™ Rapid Repair is a high strength, moisture tolerant, structural polyaspartic repair mortar for fast, reliable patching and surface repair. It combines Rapid Cure Clear Polyaspartic resin with Super Ceramic reinforcement filler to produce a paste of adjustable consistency, suitable for repairing concrete, metal, timber and plastic substrates.

The mortar hardens in about half an hour at 25°C and is then ready for sanding, grinding and profiling to a seamless finish. Because it is 100% solids it contains no solvent and does not shrink on cure, and compressive strength typically exceeds 50 MPa when fully cured, stronger than standard concrete.

Adjustable Consistency

Add the Super Ceramic filler progressively, from 20% of the mixed resin volume for a self levelling slurry that chases hairline cracks, up to 200% for a non-sag, peanut butter putty that holds on vertical and overhead surfaces. The filler is chemically inert, improves workability and increases impact resistance.

• Small 4.5 Lt: 2.5 Lt resin (1.5 Lt Part A + 1 Lt Part B) with 2 Lt Super Ceramic filler
• Medium 10 Lt: 5 Lt resin (3 Lt Part A + 2 Lt Part B) with 5 Lt Super Ceramic filler
• Large 17.5 Lt: 7.5 Lt resin (4.5 Lt Part A + 3 Lt Part B) with 10 Lt Super Ceramic filler
• X Large 32.5 Lt: 12.5 Lt resin (7.5 Lt Part A + 5 Lt Part B) with 20 Lt Super Ceramic filler

Key Features

• Rapid cure: ready to grind and profile in about 30 minutes at 25°C, recoat after 1 hour
• Moisture tolerant: can be applied to damp concrete with no standing water
• Excellent adhesion: bonds strongly to concrete, metal, timber and most plastics
• Chemical and traffic resistance: withstands a wide range of chemicals, heavy pedestrian use and vehicle traffic
