Description

SHIMICOAT Ultra Clear Polyaspartic is a rapid curing, two component, solvent free aliphatic floor coating and sealer designed for decorative and high traffic surfaces across Australia. This UV stable polyaspartic gives a high gloss, non yellowing finish that stays crystal clear, making it an ideal protective topcoat over concrete floor coating, epoxy and flake systems.

Use Ultra Clear Polyaspartic as a tough finish coat over colour flake and quartz floors, garage and warehouse floors, decorative concrete, automotive workshops, aircraft hangars and clean rooms. It bonds directly to concrete, tiles, epoxy flake coatings, steel, galvanised steel and aluminium.

What is Ultra Clear Polyaspartic used for?
It is a UV stable, crystal clear polyaspartic topcoat for protecting floors and surfaces while keeping their look. It adds a tough, glossy clear finish that protects the surface without changing its look, and it will not yellow in sunlight.
What sizes does it come in?
Ultra Clear Polyaspartic is supplied as a matched two part set in 1Lt, 2 Lt, 4 Lt, 6 Lt, 8 Lt, 10 Lt, 20 Lt and 40 Lt. Choose the volume that suits your area or project before adding to cart.
How is it applied?
Mix Part A and Part B at the ratio on the data sheet, then roll on in thin even coats. Polyaspartic cures quickly, so work in sections and keep a wet edge. The surface beneath must be clean, dry and sound for a good bond.
Why choose clear polyaspartic over clear epoxy?
Unlike clear epoxy, polyaspartic is UV stable and will not amber under sunlight, so it is the better choice for outdoor surfaces and floors that get direct light. It also recoats and cures faster, which shortens the job.
How long does it take to cure?
It is touch dry within a couple of hours and you can usually recoat the same day. Light foot traffic is fine after about 24 hours and it reaches full chemical and wear resistance within a few days. Exact times depend on temperature, so check the data sheet.
Is this a complete kit?
