Description

Super Ceramic Filler is an engineered ceramic microsphere powder that blends into any Shimicoat epoxy resin or sealer to create stronger, lighter and more durable concrete floor coating systems. Made in Australia, these off-white spherical particles (100 to 200 micron) improve flow and reduce resin use by around 7 percent, making your epoxy easier to apply and more economical.

  • Lightweight, non-sagging filler that reduces shrinkage and improves rheology for smoother application.
  • High compression strength (4,800 PSI, 33MPa) for added impact, wear and abrasion resistance.
  • Excellent chemical resistance against acids, alkalis and solvents.
  • Fire and thermal resistant, with a melting point up to 1,800 degrees Celsius.
  • Adds acoustic and noise insulation within the epoxy matrix.
  • Inert, non-reactive and compatible with single or dual pack resin systems.

Super Ceramic Filler has three core uses: crack repair (200 percent by volume of resin), screeding and levelling (100 percent by volume), and slip resistant floors (10 percent by volume). It suits garage flooring, interior floors and commercial kitchens where a tough, easy to clean, trafficable surface is needed.

What is Super Ceramic Filler used for?
It is a high performance ceramic filler that is mixed into epoxy to build a hard wearing, abrasion resistant paste for repairs and high traffic surfaces.
What sizes are available?
Super Ceramic Filler is supplied in 2.5 Ltr, 5 Ltr, 10 Ltr and 20 Ltr. Choose the amount that suits your project on this page before adding to cart.
How do I use it?
Add it gradually to your mixed resin and stir until you reach the consistency you want. Add more for a thicker, non slumping paste and less for an easier flowing mix. Mix only what you can use within the resin working time.
Which resins does it work with?
It is designed to be mixed into our epoxy and resin systems. If you are unsure how much to add for your job, contact us with the product name and we will guide you.
Is this a finished product on its own?
No. It is an additive that is mixed into resin, not a coating you apply by itself. You will also need the matching resin and hardener for your project.
