Description

SHIMICOAT Sparkling Glitters are fine decorative flakes made from copolymer plastic or aluminium foil, designed to add brilliant shimmer and depth to epoxy floor coatings and resin finishes across Australia. Solvent resistant, colourfast and durable, they hold their sparkle in demanding commercial and residential applications.

Use Sparkling Glitters in glitter floor systems, flake floor systems and metallic flooring, as well as art and craft projects and other decorative coatings. Broadcast them over a fresh coat for full coverage, or scatter lightly for a subtle accent through your epoxy floor finish.

Sparkling Glitters are available in two sizes (200mL and 1 litre) and a wide range of colours, from Pure Gold and Smokey Silver to Brilliant Blue and the fluorescent range. Choose your size and colour above to start your next decorative floor.

What is Sparkling Glitters used for?
It is decorative glitter for adding sparkle to resin and epoxy projects, such as benchtops, tumblers, art and feature floors. It can be mixed into clear resin or broadcast onto a wet coat for a shimmering finish.
What sizes and colours can I choose?
Sparkling Glitters comes in 200mL and 1 Ltr, with 11 colours including golds, silvers, brights and fluorescents. Pick your size and colour before adding to cart.
How do I use it?
Stir it through clear resin before pouring for sparkle right through the piece, or sprinkle it onto a wet clear coat for a surface shimmer, then seal over the top. A little goes a long way, so add gradually until you get the effect you want.
Is it suitable for floors as well as small projects?
Yes. It works as a feature accent in flake or metallic floors and in smaller resin art and benchtop pours. Seal it under a clear topcoat on floors so it wears well underfoot.
Is this a complete kit?
No. The glitter is a decorative additive only. You will also need clear resin and a topcoat for your project, available separately.
