Description

SHIMICOAT Line Marking Polyaspartic is a rapid curing, two-component, solvent-free aliphatic polyaspartic floor coating engineered for hard-wearing decorative finishes and durable line marking. As a UV stable, non-yellowing concrete floor coating, it keeps its colour outdoors where standard epoxy and polyurethane systems tend to yellow, making it a reliable sealer and topcoat for demanding Australian commercial and industrial floors.

Supplied as a two-pack kit (Part A resin and Part B hardener) in a range of sizes from 2.5 litre to 25 litre. Choose the volume to suit your project, or pair it with our flakes and pigments for a fully decorative floor.

What is Line Marking Polyaspartic used for?
It is a hard wearing UV stable polyaspartic made for marking lines, walkways, safety zones and bays on concrete floors. It bonds tightly and stands up to forklift and foot traffic in warehouses, factories and car parks.
What sizes and colours can I choose?
Line Marking Polyaspartic comes in 2.5 Lt, 5 Lt, 7.5 Lt, 10 Lt, 12.5 Lt and 25 Lt, in 6 line marking colours such as safety yellow, white and blue. Select your size and colour on this page before adding to cart.
How do I get sharp lines?
Mask out your lines with tape on clean, dry concrete, then mix and roll or brush the coating within the masked area. Remove the tape while the coating is still wet for a crisp edge. A second coat gives stronger colour and durability.
How long before the lines can be used?
It is touch dry within a couple of hours and you can usually recoat the same day. Light foot traffic is fine after about 24 hours and it reaches full chemical and wear resistance within a few days. Exact times depend on temperature, so check the data sheet.
Can I use it over an existing coated floor?
Yes. It can be applied over bare concrete or over a sound, clean existing coating once it is lightly abraded and free of dust and grease. On bare concrete, prime or etch first so the lines bond properly.
