Glow In The Dark Powder

Shimicoat Glow In The Dark Powder is a rechargeable, non-toxic pigment that absorbs light during the day and releases a long-lasting glow in darkness, making it ideal for mixing into epoxy and resin floor coatings and decorative pours. Available in Australia in vivid Green and Blue, it adds a striking phosphorescent effect to floors, benchtops and feature surfaces.

• Charges from sunlight or artificial light, then glows for up to 10 hours when fully charged
• Rechargeable for 10 years or more, so the effect lasts for the life of the surface
• Made from rare-earth doped compounds (strontium aluminate, calcium aluminate and zinc sulfide): non-toxic and non-radioactive
• Mix into epoxy or resin at roughly 1:4 by weight (one part powder to four parts resin)
• Settles neatly into grooves, engraving and floor surfaces, locked in place by a clear resin topcoat
• Larger particle sizes store more light and glow for longer; fine grades stay suspended for an even finish

Use it in epoxy floor coatings, table tops and bar tops, engraved signs, stair treads, handles and resin art. Blend the powder into Part A, add Part B, then stir both parts thoroughly for uniform results and the best consistency.
