What is Glitter Accent Flake?
It is decorative vinyl flake with a glitter accent, used to create flake floor finishes with extra sparkle. The flakes are broadcast into a wet base coat and sealed under a clear topcoat to give a textured, speckled look on garage, shed, patio and interior floors.
What colours can I choose?
Glitter Accent Flake comes in 11 accented blends, so you can add a glittering highlight to a natural or feature floor. Choose your colour on this page before adding to cart.
How much flake do I need?
It depends on how dense you want the coverage. A light, partial broadcast uses less, while a full broadcast where no base coat shows through uses more, generally around half a kilo to one kilo per square metre for a full cover. Order a little extra so you do not run short mid floor.
How are the flakes applied?
Roll on your coloured base coat, then broadcast the flakes evenly into the wet coating until you reach the look you want. Once cured, scrape back any sharp edges and loose flake, then seal with a clear topcoat to lock everything in.
Do I need anything else to do a floor?
