Common questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked most about the Epoxy Mortar Fast Cure Complete Kit.

What is the Epoxy Mortar Fast Cure Complete Kit used for?
It rebuilds, levels and repairs damaged or worn concrete such as potholes, spalled slabs and broken edges, with a faster cure for a quicker return to service. The mortar is trowelled into the damaged area to restore a solid, level surface.
How is the fast cure version different from the standard kit?
It uses a faster curing epoxy so the repair sets and hardens more quickly, letting you move on to traffic or coating sooner. This makes it well suited to sites where downtime needs to be kept short.
What is included in the kit?
You get the fast cure epoxy resin in two parts (Part A and Part B) plus a graded aggregate or filler that is blended in to form a trowellable mortar. A step by step installation guide is included to help you mix and apply it correctly.
How do I mix and apply the fast cure epoxy mortar?
Combine Part A and Part B at the stated ratio, then fold in the graded aggregate to form a stiff, workable mortar. Because it cures quickly, work in smaller batches and trowel each one level promptly, as the pot life is shorter than the standard kit.
How long does it take to cure?
Being a fast cure formula, it hardens noticeably quicker than standard epoxy mortar and can usually take traffic or be coated over the same day. Warmer temperatures speed this up further, while cold conditions slow it down.
Where can I use it and can I coat over it afterwards?
It suits interior concrete repairs including floors, ramps and step edges where fast turnaround matters. Once cured and lightly abraded, it can be coated over with epoxy or polyaspartic floor systems.
