The SHIMICOAT Epoxy Crack Repair Complete Kit combines Ultra Clear Epoxy Resin (100% solids) with Super Ceramic Filler to make a paste epoxy mortar you can mix to your ideal consistency for patching and repairing concrete floors. It is a fast, effective concrete floor repair and surface preparation system used by installers across Australia before applying epoxy, polyaspartic or sealer coatings.

What is the Epoxy Crack Repair Complete Kit used for?
It fills and structurally bonds cracks in concrete using a low viscosity epoxy that flows deep into the crack. Once cured it knits the slab back together and seals the crack against moisture and dirt.
What is included in the kit?
You get a low viscosity two part epoxy that penetrates the crack, plus a filler or thickener to build up wider cracks and seal the surface. A step by step installation guide is included to walk you through the process.
How do I mix and apply the crack repair epoxy?
Clean and open out the crack, then mix the epoxy parts at the stated ratio and pour or work the thin resin into the crack so it penetrates fully. For wider gaps, blend in the supplied filler to make a paste and trowel it flush with the surface.
How long does it take to cure?
The standard epoxy typically needs to be left overnight to fully cure and reach strength before the area takes traffic or is coated. Cooler temperatures will extend the cure time.
Where can I use it and can I coat over it afterwards?
It is designed for cracks in interior concrete floors, slabs and ramps. Once cured and sanded flush, the repair can be coated over with epoxy or polyaspartic floor systems for a continuous finish.
Will the repaired crack still be visible after coating?
A filled and sanded crack is structurally sealed but a fine line can sometimes remain visible under a clear or thin coat. Applying a flake or fully pigmented floor system over the top helps to disguise the repair.
