Description

Clear Marine Epoxy CM145 is an industrial grade, 100% solids two component (A and B) epoxy coating that delivers a tough, high gloss, wet look clear finish. Solvent free and odourless, this clear epoxy floor coating bonds to concrete, timber and metal, and is engineered for Australian conditions to protect surfaces from stains, spills and everyday wear.

  • Clear, high gloss topcoat with excellent chemical, abrasion and wear resistance
  • 100% solids, solvent free and odourless, with strong adhesion to most substrates
  • Bonds to concrete, timber and metal surfaces
  • Can be tinted to Australian Standard colours for a coloured floor finish
  • Add aggregates or non-slip media to create a safe, decorative anti-slip surface
  • Apply as a thin film by roller, thinned with Diluent if a lighter coat is needed

Ideal for driveways, pathways, workshops, warehouses and marine flooring, as well as general concrete, wood and metal surfaces that need a durable, hygienic and easy to clean coating. As this clear epoxy can show some yellowing under UV, it is best suited to undercover and interior areas.

Available in 0.75, 1.5, 3, 6, 15 and 30 litre sizes to suit projects of any scale. Choose your size above and seal your floor with confidence.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked most about the Clear Marine Epoxy.

What is Clear Marine Epoxy used for?
It is a crystal clear, two part epoxy resin for boats, marine timber and wet environments where water resistance matters. It cures hard and glossy and stays clear, so the surface or material underneath shows through.
What sizes does it come in?
Clear Marine Epoxy is sold as a matched resin and hardener set in 0.75 Ltr, 1.5 Ltr, 3 Ltr, 6 Ltr, 15 Ltr and 30 Ltr. Choose the volume that suits your project on this page before adding to cart.
How is it applied?
Mix the resin and hardener at the ratio on the data sheet, stirring thoroughly. Pour or roll it on in thin even coats and pop any air bubbles with a heat gun or torch. Recoat within the stated window for a strong bond between coats.
How long does it take to cure?
It is touch dry in a few hours and ready to recoat the next day. Allow about 24 hours before light foot traffic and around 7 days for full chemical and wear cure. Warmer weather speeds this up and cold weather slows it down.
Will it yellow over time?
It is a clear epoxy with good clarity, but like all epoxies it is not UV stable on its own and can amber under strong direct sun over time. For surfaces in constant sunlight, finish with a UV stable polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoat.
Is this a complete kit?
This is the clear epoxy resin and hardener on its own, not a floor or project kit. Add any flakes, pigments, fillers or tools you need separately, or browse our DIY Complete Kits for ready matched systems.
