Description

Chemical Resistant Clear Epoxy (ChemRes CR130) is an industrial grade, two component clear epoxy floor coating engineered for high performance concrete floors across Australia. This 100% solids, solvent free system seals concrete with a tough, high gloss wet look film that protects against stains, spills, chemicals and everyday wear.

Use it as a hard wearing clear topcoat or binder for driveways, pathways, workshops, warehouses, showrooms and interior or outdoor concrete floors. Apply as a thin film by roller, add aggregate for a non-slip surface, or thin with Diluent to adjust the coating thickness.

What is Chemical Resistant Clear Epoxy used for?
It is a crystal clear, two part epoxy resin for surfaces that face chemical splash and spills, such as workshops, labs and benches. It cures hard and glossy and stays clear, so the surface or material underneath shows through.
What sizes does it come in?
Chemical Resistant Clear Epoxy is sold as a matched resin and hardener set in 750mL, 1.5 Ltr, 3 Ltr, 6 Ltr, 15 Ltr and 30 Ltr. Choose the volume that suits your project on this page before adding to cart.
How is it applied?
Mix the resin and hardener at the ratio on the data sheet, stirring thoroughly. Pour or roll it on in thin even coats and pop any air bubbles with a heat gun or torch. Recoat within the stated window for a strong bond between coats.
How long does it take to cure?
It is touch dry in a few hours and ready to recoat the next day. Allow about 24 hours before light foot traffic and around 7 days for full chemical and wear cure. Warmer weather speeds this up and cold weather slows it down.
Will it yellow over time?
It is a clear epoxy with good clarity, but like all epoxies it is not UV stable on its own and can amber under strong direct sun over time. For surfaces in constant sunlight, finish with a UV stable polyaspartic or polyurethane topcoat.
Is this a complete kit?
