Description

Carbosil Filler (also known as Aerosil) is a fumed silica resin thickener and rheology modifier used to viscosify epoxy resin into a smooth, non-sagging, high-strength mixture. Engineered for ideal thickening with thixotropic, shear-thinning properties, it makes resin easy to trowel, screed and apply to any surface, and is trusted by trade and DIY users across Australia.

What is Carbosil Filler used for?
It is a thickening filler that is stirred into epoxy and resin to control flow and make a non slumping paste for vertical repairs, gap filling and bonding.
What sizes are available?
Carbosil Filler is supplied in 1 Ltr, 2 Ltr, 4 Ltr, 10 Ltr and 20 Ltr. Choose the amount that suits your project on this page before adding to cart.
How do I use it?
Add it gradually to your mixed resin and stir until you reach the consistency you want. Add more for a thicker, non slumping paste and less for an easier flowing mix. Mix only what you can use within the resin working time.
Which resins does it work with?
It is designed to be mixed into our epoxy and resin systems. If you are unsure how much to add for your job, contact us with the product name and we will guide you.
Is this a finished product on its own?
No. It is an additive that is mixed into resin, not a coating you apply by itself. You will also need the matching resin and hardener for your project.
