The Balconies Polyaspartic Flake Complete Kit is a UV stable, waterproof flake system built for outdoor balconies and decks. Each kit covers 10 m² and includes crack repair, tinted polyaspartic, decorative flake and a clear polyaspartic top coat for a tough, weather resistant and great looking finish.

Test Standard: ASTM D2565 – Q-Sun Xenon Arc Exposure (1,000 Hours)

SHIMICOAT Flakes undergo accelerated weathering testing to evaluate colour stability and resistance to light-induced fading. Lightfastness is assessed through visual colour evaluation in accordance with ASTM D1729, supported by colour change measurements using the Delta E (ΔE) scale.

Lightfastness Performance: Most SHIMICOAT Flake colours achieve Good to Moderate lightfastness ratings under the tested conditions.

Actual colour stability may vary depending on colour selection, exposure conditions and installation environment.

It is a complete decorative flake floor system for balconies and outdoor areas. Coloured vinyl flakes are broadcast into a base coat and sealed under a UV stable polyaspartic top coat for a tough, textured, easy to clean finish.
What is included in the kit?
The kit includes a tinted base coat, decorative flakes in your chosen blend, a UV stable polyaspartic top coat, prep materials and a step by step installation guide. Everything you need to finish the floor is in the one pack.
How is it applied?
Prepare the concrete so it is clean, dry and sound, roll on the base coat, then broadcast the flakes into the wet coating. Once cured, scrape back the excess and seal with the top coat. Work in sections, as the polyaspartic top coat cures quickly.
How much does one kit cover?
Each kit covers 10 m². Measure your area (length by width) and, for a larger space, simply add another kit. Coverage assumes properly prepared concrete, so rough or porous surfaces may use a little more.
