Description

SHIMICOAT AQUAthane Tinted Sealer is an industrial, water based, single component polyurethane concrete floor coating that protects and enhances concrete surfaces indoors and out. Engineered in Australia, this tinted sealer is a cross linking emulsion that bonds strongly to well prepared concrete, delivering a tough, durable, coloured finish with excellent moisture barrier properties.

AQUAthane Tinted is ideal for garage floors, cafe and restaurant floors, outdoor areas and general concrete surfaces that need a hard wearing, coloured protective coating. As a low odour, non flammable alternative to solvent based lacquers, it suits occupied and enclosed spaces where ventilation is limited.

Available in 5 litre, 10 litre and 20 litre sizes and a range of colours including Bright Blue, White, Neutral Grey, Black, Dark Grey, Terracotta, Dark Brown and Cream. Choose the size and colour to suit your project and seal your concrete with confidence.

What is AQUAthane Tinted Sealer used for?
It is a tinted, water based polyurethane concrete sealer that protects and finishes concrete, pavers and masonry. It guards against dust, water, stains and wear, and lifts the look of the surface in 8 tinted colours.
What sizes and colours can I choose?
AQUAthane Tinted Sealer comes in 5 Ltr, 10 Ltr and 20 Ltr, with a choice of 8 colours. Select your size and colour on this page before adding to cart.
How is it applied?
The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Apply thin even coats by roller, brush or sprayer, usually two coats, allowing the recoat time on the data sheet between them. Thin coats give a better finish than one heavy coat.
How much will I need?
Coverage depends on how porous and textured the surface is. As a guide allow around 8 to 10 m² per litre per coat on smooth sealed concrete, and more on rough or bare surfaces. Measure your area and check the data sheet before ordering.
How long before I can use the area?
It is generally touch dry within a couple of hours and ready for light foot traffic the next day. Allow the full cure time on the data sheet before heavy traffic or wetting the surface.
Where can I use it?
It suits driveways, paths, patios, garage floors and other concrete and masonry surfaces. If you are sealing a specific surface and want to confirm it is suitable, contact us before you buy.
