Description

SHIMICOAT AquaSeal Tinted Sealer is a single pack, water-based acrylic concrete floor coating and sealer for interior and exterior use across Australia. It penetrates concrete and cementitious surfaces and bonds to form a tough, low sheen finish that protects the surface while keeping its natural appearance. Solvent free and fast drying, it is a simple, hard-wearing sealer for concrete that adds colour and lasting protection in one easy step.

What is AquaSeal Tinted Sealer used for?
It is a tinted, water based concrete sealer that protects and finishes concrete, pavers and masonry. It guards against dust, water, stains and wear, and lifts the look of the surface in 8 tinted colours.
What sizes and colours can I choose?
AquaSeal Tinted Sealer comes in 5 Ltr, 10 Ltr and 20 Ltr, with a choice of 8 colours. Select your size and colour on this page before adding to cart.
How is it applied?
The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Apply thin even coats by roller, brush or sprayer, usually two coats, allowing the recoat time on the data sheet between them. Thin coats give a better finish than one heavy coat.
How much will I need?
Coverage depends on how porous and textured the surface is. As a guide allow around 8 to 10 m² per litre per coat on smooth sealed concrete, and more on rough or bare surfaces. Measure your area and check the data sheet before ordering.
How long before I can use the area?
It is generally touch dry within a couple of hours and ready for light foot traffic the next day. Allow the full cure time on the data sheet before heavy traffic or wetting the surface.
Where can I use it?
It suits driveways, paths, patios, garage floors and other concrete and masonry surfaces. If you are sealing a specific surface and want to confirm it is suitable, contact us before you buy.
